Magazine, this Rainbow-clad Spectacular ends a season of irreverent comedy revues that celebrate diversity, absurdity, debauchery, depravity and the glamour of destitution.  Raw, sophisticated, and experimental, this seamless blend of Sketch, Improv, Live Music and Dance playfully teases our darker sensibilities with a surreal flair.   Cabaret Vulgare ’s Blowout Season Finale promises to be the biggest and craziest, featuring an all-star guest line-up, jazz trio, Vulgare Carnival Pre-Show and includes some of the top “best of” moments from Vulgare’s inaugural season.

CABARET VULGARE ’s core cast features many talented and diverse performers. Stand-up comedian/actor RENEE PERCY.  and Bad Dog Theatre Mainstage performer JEN RADOMSKY , were named Best Discovery 2004 by NOW magazine for their hit show “Mardi Bras”. Creator, producer, director and ensemble performer TROY YORKE has appeared in numerous films and TV episodics including Scary Movie 3, Delicate Art of Parking, The Collector and Missing.  Stand comedian JILLIAN THOMAS was crowned Slack Alice’s Comedian of the Year and co-produces the hit all-female monthly stand-up showcase “From the Mouths of Babes”. STEVE JOHNSTON recently appeared in Mike Kennard’s critically acclaimed “The Hollow” at CanStage. DAVID IVKOVIC is the creator of DIM Productions Inc., for which he is currently busy producing, writing and acting in a half hour sketch comedy pilot entitled The Randoms.  And debauchery wouldn’t be complete without the “caustic and quick-witted” Lady Snatch herself, MAJENTA BUTTERFLY… CHANTEUSE EXTRAORDINAIRE! to sing her loony boozy tales.  She’s busy performing at events, venues and fundraisers all around Toronto, including hosting the Queer Cabaret at Toronto Pride 2005.
